Production Machine Technician

Summary

The Production Machine Technician maintains Drummond’s manufacturing equipment to keep machines and production operating correctly. The technician also works with the engineering team to design, document, assembly, debug, and startup of manufacturing equipment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and fix manufacturing machine problems and help design permanent
• Be the first line of technical support, ensuring production equipment is working.
• Work collaboratively with the engineering team to design/create/build automated assembly.
• Provide technical support for production
• Identify recurring machine problems that need an engineering
• Layout, design, document, and build equipment power & control

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and solve an equipment
• Perform and help create preventative maintenance schedules for production
• Hands-on design, build, repair, maintenance, and improvement of production
• Design & Document electrical aspects of production
• Provide hands-on training to operators on machine troubleshooting and daily maintenance
• Maintain required inventory of spare parts from outside suppliers and internal machine shops.
• Follow procedures and create documentation as needed to comply with ISO
• Perform other related duties as

Requirements

• Experience integrating sensing technologies into design and manufacturing
• Experience with mechanical automation
• Experience with electrical automation hardware and control
• Excellent communicator and
• Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to assimilate
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Exceptional problem solver with the ability and desire to think
