By combining the precision of glass with the safety of a Mylar® overwrap, Hemato-Clad tubes reduce the possibility of contamination due to breakage with no compromise in accuracy.

With Hemato-Clad tubes accidental breakage is also reduced, particularly when pressing the tube into sealing clay. If a fracture occurs, the Mylar wrapping helps contain the sample and provides an added layer of protection against the broken glass.
